World Day of Prayer is a movement for international prayer, started by two women in Canada in 1922.  This movement focuses on ecumenism and reconciliation after the World Wars.  This day of prayer is also important to promote justice and equality for women around the world.  Since 1927 the first Friday in March is known as Women's World Day of Prayer.  All women and men are invited to participate around the globe.

Join with Church of the Epiphany in Clark’s Summit, PA to celebrate World Day of Prayer.  Pray with us from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm in 15-minute increments on Friday, March 6.  On Saturday, March 7, you are invited to pray from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, again in 15-minute increments, and to join together at Church of the Epiphany, 25 Church Hill, Glenburn, for a celebration of prayers from Zimbabwe, followed by Eucharist and a pot-luck meal of foods from Zimbabwe and America.

Let us know you'll be praying by clicking the button below to claim your 15 minute timeslot/s. Names will be added to the schedule as they come in. You may request one for March 6 and one for March 7 per form; you may submit multiple forms, if you wish more time slots. If your chosen slot is filled, you will be moved to the next available slot. Help us fill up the grid!  Please join us as you are able, to pray for justice, peace, and equality for women.  Thank you for your prayers and support.
