Junior Worship
aka "Bird Church"

Junior Worship is on hiatus until it is safe to worship in close proximity. Please keep our children - and all children, everywhere - in prayer at this challenging time.
During 11 AM worship, children, ages 3 - 10, are invited to start out with Junior Worship in the Hyde Memorial Chapel
(we call this Bird Church). This worship service is geared for kids with a shortened order of worship, music,
and the Gospel in kid-friendly language. The mission of Bird Church is to teach, in an age appropriate environment, the same worship traditions that are practiced in the sanctuary. Lively discussions about faith, the Word of the Lord, Jesus' adventures, Biblical terms, the Church calendar, how to live our lives as Jesus would want us to, superheroes, sports, and myriad other imaginative topics ensue, according to the worship leaders. Children rejoin their families in the Sanctuary at the Sharing of the Peace, to participate in Holy Communion and the remainder of the service.
