Sunday Worship and Activities
In the Episcopal church, everyone is welcome and all baptized Christians are invited to receive communion. (If you need a gluten-free wafer, please let an usher know before the service begins.)
September – June Worship Schedule
5:00 PM – a quiet service without music using Holy Eucharist Rite II
– In months with 5 Sundays*, there is a potluck brunch at this time on the 5th Sunday
11:00 AM – Holy Eucharist Rite II with music
11:00 AM – Junior Worship aka “Bird Church” – Young children, age 3 – grade 3, are invited to attend Bird Church in the Commons Room in the parish hall (just off the foyer) beginning at 11:00. They will rejoin their families at the sharing of the peace to participate in the eucharist with the congregation.
*In months with 5 Sundays, we join together for potluck brunch at 9:30 AM followed by a single service at 11:00 AM. (In 2018: April 29, July 29, September 30, and December 30.)
At this time, Epiphany does not have a nursery for infants and toddlers; children of all ages are welcome at worship. There are soft play bags and a selection of activity books available in the narthex.
Fellowship and refreshments are available in the fellowship hall from around 9 until after the second service. (During the summer, refreshments are set up outside the main church door before and after the service, weather permitting. Look in the fellowship hall if the weather isn’t cooperating).
