Here is information about the choirs and music ministries of our parish:

Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir sings on the first, third, and fifth Sundays, rehearsing on those Sundays as well as each Thursday evening (7 PM) prior to the Sundays they sing, from mid-September through early June. New voices are always welcome! If you’re interested in joining, leave a message for Melissa at 570-563-1564.

This choir is extremely active, performing on the first, third and fifth Sundays each month (from September through mid-June), as well as Holy Week services from Maundy Thursday through Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve and other special services. Their music ministry is extended when they go carolling to our homebound parishioners during Christmas time. They also participate each year at the AEM (Abington Ecumenical Ministerium) Choir Festival and perform a special concert about every five years for the public.

All youth from fourth through eighth grade are invited to join us in playing our wonderful set of chimes. The ability to read music is not required, and no previous experience is necessary.
The chimers perform for special services and practice at 10AM the Sunday of performances. They perform at the 10:30AM eucharist during the offertory.
They occasionally have the priviledge playing our beautiful hand bells.
* Chimers are inactive at the present, but that could change quickly with renewed interest. If your child would enjoy chiming, please contact Melissa Driscole.

Cherub Choir

The Cherub Choir is open to all children in preschool to grade 6.Children’s Choirs and Chimers are known to perform for special occasions (Christmas Eve, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Youth Sunday) with minimal rehearsal. The greater the interest, the greater the opportunities to make wonderful music under the guidance of our fabulous choir director, Melissa Driscole. She will be more than happy to hear from interested music makers.

Christmas Caroling

Anchored by the adult choir, a multi-generational ensemble travels the area to bring seasonal song and cheer to our homebound parishioners. Keep an ear to the ground during Advent to find out when this beloved tradition will take place.

If you or your child would enjoy participating in any of the music programs at Epiphany, please leave a message for Melissa Driscole at 570-563-1564.
